Cameroun Eliminated by England from 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup

Cameroon has been eliminated from the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup at the 8th Final level. The Lionesses of England beat the Lionesses on Cameroun 3 – 0 in a warm early evening game in the Stade du Hainaut.

Steph Houghton’s scored the opener came from an indirect free kick after a backpass. The second goal by Ellen White saw first ruled out as offside before that decision was overturned following consultation with VAR.  Alex Greenwood scored the third goal in at the second half of the match.

While the Camerounian girls heads home, the Lionesses of England will next meet Norway in Le Havre on the 27th of June
